On call 24/7 365 for all DCD and BD donor related management issues

1. Review donor history and current support including anticipated donor organ allocation

2. Ventilator management

3. Hemodynamic discussion including pressors and volume assessment

Review of all imaging available

1. CXR and CT scans and reports

Review of all culture data and antibiotic decisions

1. Review of NAT testing

2. Assist in accelerating or stopping donor organ allocation

3. Subsequent discussion around new data and further management decisions

Discussion with on-site physicians or specialists as needed

1. DCD donors

Review all current protocols

1. Focus on vent management

2. Focus on EBM guidelines

Assist in Coordinator learning opportunities

1. Standard lecture series

2. Case review of all donors

Meet monthly to review current allocation data for OPO

1. Dashboard development

2. DMG Analysis and review of unexpected organ discard

Meet with Medical Director at least quarterly to review issues in management and processes

Develop competency testing for coordinators if desired

Attend Quarterly Physician Forums

1. Participate in Physician Forum as requested by OPO

Participate in RT education in local hospitals as deemed necessary per OPO

Attend community outreach per discussion with administration and as schedules allow
